J. C. Miller was born in 1960 and raised in a farming
town outside of Rochester, New York. She has spent
most of her life in the surrounding area, working in
child care, office support, and photography while
earning her arts-related undergraduate degrees. Her
graduate work was done at Regent University in
Virginia Beach, Virginia. She received her MA in
Communication from their film school in May of 2000.
Miller is a born-again Christian who feels the call to
story-telling that provides a spiritual alternative to
secular entertainment. She has a previous writing
credit of one short award-winning film, TR, which
Regent University produced. Among her future writing
plans is a sequel to WORLDS APART.
